Glass Doors
Glass doors are the final touch to complete your fireplace. They serve a few important purposes.
The first is safety. They keep small children and pets away from the fire and they also contain embers and sparks from flying out of the fireplace.
Secondly, glass doors will save you money! If you don’t have doors on your fireplace, you are losing the heat of your home up your chimney. An open fireplace is like having an open window in your home. In the winter, the warm air in your home is being vacuumed up your chimney, thus causing your furnace to work harder. In the summer, your air conditioner will lose the cool air to the chimney.
Finally, they add that final detail to complete the look of the fireplace. Since the fireplace is the main focal point of the room, this is an important detail to consider. Our doors offer virtually limitless styles, colors, and sizes. We offer free in home design to assist you in picking the perfect door for your home.
